2. Where did the name Church on the Rock come from?
We get the name Church on the Rock from Matthew 16:18 where Jesus said I will build my Church upon a rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail.
The word rock means the revealed word of God, and we endeavor to let Jesus build this church on the uncompromising word of God.

No, we are not affiliated with any denomination.
4. What are the requirements to become a member at Church on the Rock?
The Senior Pastor conducts a new members class where the vision of the Church, and the government of the Church is explained.
This class is approximately 3 hours long, and when the class is completed the new members are received into the body.
This class is very important because it explains what the vision is, and it gives the new members a chance to ask questions about the Church.
We are not here just to get a bunch of people together; we are called to disciple those that God has called to be at Church on the Rock.
5. What are the core beliefs at Church on the Rock?
We believe in one God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, creator of
all things.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God,
was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was
crucified, dead, buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven
and is now seated at the right hand of the Father and is true
God and man.
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed
blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in divine healing through faith in the name of Jesus
and that healing is included in the redemption.
We believe in water baptism and the baptism in the Holy Spirit
as distinct from the new birth, in speaking in tongues as the
Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4) and the gifts of the Spirit
and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all
are available to believers.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness
of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.
