Where there is no vision the people perish... Proverbs 29:18

Pastors Dennis and Angela Hattabaugh are the founding pastors of Church on the Rock in Georgetown, Texas.

Over a decade ago God gave Pastor Dennis a vision to start a church in Georgetown, Texas, giving him the scripture,

John 15:16: "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit shall remain."

In March 2001 he and his family moved to Georgetown and they held their first service on June 10th in a small suite in the Thousand Oaks Plaza on Leander Road. They quickly outgrew that facility and had to rent two larger suites in the same plaza. By the end of 2004 the congregation had grown so large that it needed its own building. In January of 2005 the church purchased a piece of property off of Airport Road and by March of 2007 construction was complete and the church had moved into its permanent location at 925 Golden Oaks Drive.

Pastors Dennis and Angela are graduates of Church on the Rock Bible Institute in New Albany, Indiana.

They have three children, two of them, Stephanie and Courtney, are involved with them in the ministry.
